Действительно с GSM-модемами есть проблемы такого рода. Очень часто они ставят лишние драйвера и используют различные COM-порты, особенно при перестановке модема из одного в другой USB-порт. Поэтому, лучше удалять неиспользуемые устройства либо через диспетчер устройств либо способом, который вы описали. И, если извлекать модем, то желательно вставлять его в тот же USB-порт.

Программа USBDeview от nirsoft.net показала, что:
1. Содержатся три привязки к разным COM-портам c одним и тем же описанием (Description) "HUAWEI Mobile Connect - 3G PC UI Interface"
2. При подключении модема к USB порту в системе в подключенном статусе оказывается то устройство, которое как раз отсутствует в списке обнаруженных устройств программы Call Office.

Решение через программу USBDeview:
выбраны строчки "HUAWEI Mobile Connect - 3G PC UI Interface" в статусе "Connected -> No" при фактически подключенном модеме к конкретному порту USB, к данным устройствам выполнена операция Uninstall Selected Devices.
После повторного подключения модема к тому же USB порту - он с верным номером COM-порта появился в списке устройств программы Call Office.

неверно установлены драйвера или порты модема используются другими программами (или ранее запущенной копией Call Office). Попробуйте перезагрузить компьютер, если проблема останется скачайте файл и запустите. Программа покажет список доступных COM-портов. Посмотрите самостоятельно или отправьте нам в службу поддержки. Посмотрим в чем дело.

модем со всеми дровами в системе работает, нет неопознанных устройств, выход в инет и звонки голосовые работают через модемный дашбоард, но CallOffice его перестал видеть, список выбора модема "Другие устройства" абсолютно пустой.
